Schedule Of Events For The Grand Opening Of The MCI Center

In Thursday's Washington Post, a full page ad was placed announcing the schedules for opening night for the MCI Center on Tuesday, December 2. Doors will open at 5:45pm for the game. However, that is the least of the important events being held during the day. All events will be at the F Street entrance to the arena (i.e., in the middle of the building).

11:30am	Benediction, sponsored by the Mayor's Office for Religious Affairs
12:00pm	Welcome to the Neighborhood parade
2:00pm	Big Al and the Alley Cats (music)
3:15pm	Dave Sherman and the Nightcrawlers (music)
4:15pm	Shades, featuring Sylver Logan Sharp (music)
5:30pm	MCI Center Ribon Cutting Ceremonies
6:00pm	Five O'Clock Shadow (music)
6:30pm	Madison Lively Stones (music)
7:15pm	Ligtning Washboard Band (music)
7:15pm	Indoor Laser Show
8:00pm	Wizards v. Seattle

As noted in the ad, all season ticket holders should be sure to bring your Inaugural Game Ticket (located in the front of the ticket booklet) for admission to the game. Do not forget it! Also, all ticket holders will receive a commemorative ticket stamp and holder, courtesy of Nike.
