What Can We Be Thankful For This Year?

The United States will be celebrating its Thanksgiving holiday tomorrow, so it's time to think about what we, as Wizards fans, should be thankful for? By no means is this list meant to be complete, but these are some of the things I am thankful for:

1. Playoffs - finally, this team stepped up to its talent and made it big (for a 3-game sweep)
2. New logo - say what you will about the current incarnation, it's more interesting than the old logo
3. New road uniforms - I think they look cool (the home unis are too dull)
4. Lots of road games - because the Wizards seem incapable of winning at USAirlines Arena right now (could that be related to the dull home unis?)
5. Denver - because they are bad enough to be good for two wins this year, too bad they are not in the Eastern Conference
6. Rod Strickland - he will lead the league in assists this year, he knows how to drive and dish
7. Terry Davis - without him in the middle, this team would be marshmallow-soft
8. Bernie Bickerstaff - he tells it like it is, even if his players don't always seem to listen
9. MCI Center - I haven't seen it yet, but it's got to be better than USAirlines Arena
10. Metro - now I don't have to drive to games, I can just hop the Metro (and wait in long lines to leave)
11. The food court - at least there's some place at MCI Center to wait while crowds thin out on the Metro after a game
12. Female referees - because they can't be any worse than some of the men currently blowing the whistle
13. David Aldridge - who did a good job covering the Bullets for the Washington Post and still does great work for ESPNet Sportszone
14. Washington Post - who at least covers the Bullets and makes their articles available online (as opposed to the Washington Times)
15. The Internet - because there are Wizards fans all over the nation and the world who should be brought together.
