CWebb Back Practicing After Bout With Illness

You can read the full details in Ric Bucher's story about CWebb's return to practice with the team. He was a little rusty, but played with full intensity and seemed to inspire his teammates to try harder in practice. He wore down in the end, but coach Bickerstaff believed that CWebb's conditioning prior to camp enabled him to come back to practice quickly.

Not so good was that Rod Strickland missed yesterday's practices with symptoms eerily similar to CWebb's stomach virus. Hopefully, he'll be back soon.

Also, Charles Shackleford has pulled up lame with a left groin injury, probably due in part to favoring his left knee/leg. *sigh*

Tracy Murray will get checked out by the doctor's today to determine if he is ready for full-contact drills. Let's hope he is.

Don't forget, tonight is the intrasquad scrimmage at Shepherd College, 7:30 pm.
