Bullets Show No Deference To Sacramento's Royalty

16 December 1996. Washington Bullets 97, Sacramento Kings 89 (record: 11-11)
Game leaders: Webber (24 points), Webber (14 rebounds), Strickland (8 assists)Back to .500. That's a good feeling. The Bullets easily handled a Kings team without forwards Brian Grant and Lionel Simmons and guard Tyus Edney. I'll take a win any way we can get it.
Now, the Bullets still proved that they are having problems stopping good shooting guards. This time, Mitch Richmond was lighting up the Bullets, but the Bullets were lucky to get Richmond in foul trouble in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Richmond finished with 28 points of 10 of 20 shooting.
CWebb continues his torrid play. He's shooting over 50% from the field, plus getting over 20 points and 10 rebounds a game. He also makes significant contributions in the assist, steal and turnover categories. Also, Howard is playing more consistently, and Strickland finally seems to have found the range on his medium range jumper.
Unfortunatelt, the Bullets committed 21 turnovers (which led to 24 Sacramento points). The Bullets need to keep that category down, otherwise they'll have trouble winning against teams that actually can score. But this road trip continues to be good for the team, and they have now won a season-high 4 straight games. (I know, it's weird getting excited about a 4-game winning streak.)
